Dr. Alexandre Nzubahimana is the Head of Medical at SanlamAllianz General Insurance, where he oversees underwriting and claims management. With over six years of experience in insurance and more than five years of medical practice and he has a unique blend of clinical and insurance expertise. During his insurance career, he has successfully led initiatives in claims automation, fraud detection, customer experience enhancement, and medical loss ratio improvement. Dr. Alexandre holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from National University of Rwanda and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Mount Kenya University. He is passionate about advancing healthcare through improved insurance literacy and community engagement in Rwanda.
